Boston Stories Vol. 1 is a flash fiction collection following the exploits of an unnamed character who is the de factor King of Boston, his Norwegian companion Mads, and the cheeseburger-headed mascot of the Von Dieter’s fast food franchise, the Baron Von Dieter.

Originally written on Myspace’s blog feature between 2006 and 2008, and collected and cleaned up for this edition, these stories are a series of irreverent adventures in a fantastical world that doesn’t always make a lot of sense, but is slightly grounded in the current events of the real world at that time. Our heroes deal with everything from dangerous Japanese game shows, to making sure the cable guy has access to their neighbor Dracula’s apartment while he’s sleeping during the day, all told in the quick-hitter style of flash fiction pieces. So grab your favorite adult (or not-so-adult) beverage, sit back, and enjoy the ride.
